If you or your child(ren) were enrolled in the Cumberland School District after 2001, this breach applies to you. You or your child(ren) may have received an email communication from PowerSchool regarding the data breach we notified you of earlier. You may not have received the notification, if we did not have your current information on file. We are posting this notification on social media to notify past students.
PowerSchool is offering services/support to anyone affected. You can feel free to sign up for additional peace of mind regardless of what information may have been released about you or your child.

We would like to stress that the data breach was in no way caused by the Cumberland School District. The breach was due to circumstances that occurred at PowerSchool and were out of the District’s control. This cybersecurity incident is impacting school districts nationwide.
