The last Adventure Awaits class was titled, "Mystery ❓ Class!"
The students were given choices of which river to 🛶 kayak and 🎣 fish for the day. The Namekagan River won the vote! The group set out to enjoy the day on the water. Little did they know the mystery was just beginning to unfold. The meandering river just kept going and going, but so did our students. Once they arrived at their take-out spot, the final mystery revealed itself...the 🚌 bus keys were left in the vehicle at the starting point. Luckily, friends are always nearby to help.
📢 THANK YOU to our #CSDGoBeavers parents for having a flexible role in our "Adventure Awaits" classes! It truly was an adventure your kids will remember!!

🐄 Cows, 🐑 sheep, and 🐔 chickens, OH MY!
Here are just a FEW of the hardworking students at the Brown County Fair from our elementary, middle, and high school buildings who were busy this past week. From bringing projects like cake decorating, collections, shooting sports, photography, and hundreds of other projects to the expo building to spending time in the arena and in the barns caring for their animals, these #CSDGoBeavers students hard work was on display for the week. 🍀🎟️

➡️ Check out what our CHS Drama Club Officers have been up to this summer! They volunteered their time over the last week as camp counselors at the ETC's Kids' Theater Camp. They had an ✨ AMAZING ✨ time teaching kids ages 5-12 about acting, stage crew, prop building, and choreography! 🎭 #CSDGoBeavers

It was a ✨ GORGEOUS ✨ day for our #CSDGoBeavers students to float down the beautiful scenic St. Croix River!
The ☀️ sun was shining, the 💦 water was refreshing, and the 🎣 fish weren't quite biting, but it was a fun day on the river.

🛑 STOP and take a peek at our #CSDGoBeavers students and their work with Clay Stop Motion Animation and Green Screen Animation!
For Clay Stop Motion Animation, students were tasked to create a video using the elements of an 🐻🦒 animal, background, and dialog.
With Green Screen Animation, students were challenged to create a video about a superhero. 🦸🦸♀️ They used their imagination to create a storyline for each video!

🐶😺 Pets, Pets, and MORE Pets!
These #CSDGoBeavers students spent the week creating the PUURRRfect home for their newly created and adopted pets. They made washcloth puppies, pom-pom kitties, Origami fish, and cut-out hamsters. On the final day of class, they selected a unique pet to adopt, filling out an adoption certificate to make it extra special. Check out their AMAZING houses! 🏠

✨ Reading sparks the imagination and kick-starts creativity! ✨
These #CSDGoBeavers bookworms spent the day exploring the book series "Fancy Nancy." After reading about Nancy's spectacular spectacles they made their own fancy glasses! 🕶️ Then they read about her delectable bake sale, so they decorated their own cupcakes 🧁 and pretended to sell them. The week ended with setting up a tent, reading more stories, and developing their own constellation stories. ⛺📗

🎺🎷 Our #CSDGoBeavers 6th grade band students participated in the Shell Lake Art Center's First Year Masterclass which includes a day of rehearsals and instrumental learning geared towards 1st year band members! Twenty-three students from Cumberland participated with almost 200 students from the surrounding area.
Great job to all of these students for their hard work at SLAC! 👍
