Golf Season Ends at WIAA Regional in Luck
The Cumberland Golf Team saw their season come to an end last week at the WIAA Regional in Luck. Unity shot a 339 to defeat second place Glenwood City by 10 strokes to take the Regional Title.
Andrew Buck of Turtle Lake/Clayton was Medalist on the day with a 76. Freshman Miles Lehmann finished 35th with a score of 100 to lead the Beavers in scoring, while Gavin Lehmann added a 111.
“I enjoyed working with the kids and watching them improving. Now they just have to get out and play more golf,” concluded Coach Reid Olson.
