  • Job Title: Full-Time Middle School Special Education Teacher

    Job Description:  Full-time Special Education teaching position at the Cumberland Middle School.  Applicants will have excellent communication, professionalism, and organizational skills. We prefer experience with special education paperwork and procedures, including functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans. Applicants must value meaningful connections with students and are adaptable in co-teaching and differentiating instruction.  This position entails working with students in grades 5-8. The applicant is responsible for instruction, case management, communicating with parents and staff, writing and implementing IEPs, and completing other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications: A Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Special Education License to teach students in grades 5-8.

  • Job Title: High School Secretary

    Job Description: The Cumberland School District is seeking applicants for a secretarial position (235 days per year, 8 hours per day) at the Cumberland High School.  Strong technology and computer skills are essential, along with excellent written and oral communication skills.  The successful candidate will maintain records in the area of student attendance, student transportation, school events, athletic activities, and other duties assigned by the high school principal.

    Qualifications: A high school diploma is required, though preference will be given to those with advanced coursework and training.  Candidates with work-related experiences performing secretarial duties and the ability to maintain confidentiality are preferred.  Applicants must also possess the ability to process and enter data, be detail-oriented, and be able to manage multiple deadlines.  Proficiency in Excel and Word is required; familiarity with Google, PowerSchool, and Skyward software products is a plus.
